Born at the end of the first intifada, during her teenage years Christy\u2019s family lived in a war zone because of the location of their house, in front of Rachel\u2019s tomb.<\/p>\n<p>At the age of 16 her life and the lives of her family were dramatically altered when the\u00a0wall separating Jerusalem and Bethlehem was erected directly in front of their house.\u00a0The story of the Anastas family and their home became famous for being the only house surrounded by the wall from three sides.<\/p>\n<p>These life events have left the family stuck between a rock and a hard place.
